Volume 2 is the second volume of the Oshi no Ko manga, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Japan on October 16, 2020,^[1] and in English on May 23, 2023.^[2]

Ten years after the murder of pop idol Ai Hoshino, her young (and unusually mature) twins are now poised to enter high school. While her death has had a profound effect on the children, it’s manifested in polar-opposite ways. Ruby is determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become an idol, but Aqua has no desire to stand in the spotlight. Instead, he works behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, all while harboring an ulterior motive: discover the identity of the accomplice in his mother’s untimely death!^[2]

The twins Aqua and Ruby are enjoying the "baby life" having been reborn with their memories intact as the child of their favorite Idol, Ai Hoshino. But even those days were over in a flash as Ai was murdered by a stalker. Time passed and the twins are now high school students. With differing purposes in the hearts, Aqua for "revenge" and Ruby to "shine" like their mother, they challenge the world of show business...!
