Volume 10

Volume 10 is the tenth volume of the Oshi no Ko manga, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Japan on January 19, 2023^[1] and in English on May 27, 2025.^[2]

When the TV show Dig Deep!! faces online backlash, Ruby manages to swing the controversy in her favor to boost her own rising popularity. Sensing someone else’s influence in Ruby’s sudden attitude shift, Aqua seeks out Ichigo Saitou, missing president of Ichigo Production. Ichigo has his own reasons for wanting to avenge Ai, and to Aqua’s dismay, the young actor learns that his own quest for retribution may not yet be resolved…^[2]

A segment featuring cosplayers on the Web Variety Show Dig Deep, in which Ruby works as a reporter, becomes a subject of an Internet scandal due to how disrespectful it is for the cosplayers featured. Ruby, who is bent on 'revenge' after what happened in Takachiho, uses the uproar to her advantage. Furthermore, Aqua is closing in on the truth behind Ai's murder...

Trivia[]

The quotes from the Volume summary are taken from Chapter 93, said by Aqua Hoshino to Ruby Hoshino as he confronted his twin sister regarding her actions in the Dig Deep Cosplay scandal.
According to Mengo, the artwork of the Shonen Jump+ Illustration #40 is originally drawn as the cover of Volume 10. The artwork, however, got rejected, resulting to her having to redrew it to its current incarnation.^[4]
