Show Business「芸能界, Geinō-kai?」 is the second arc of Oshi no Ko manga series. It span the entire second volume of Oshi no Ko, and tells the story of the twins entering high school and becoming a teenagers, and slowly working themselves into the entertainment world for their own personal reason.

Ruby Hoshino, now a teenager, takes an audition to become an idol as her mother always wanted her to be. However, Aqua sabotages her application as he strongly opposes this out of fear of losing her like Ai. However it was in vain as Ruby gets scouted for an underground idol group and reluctantly he lets her join Ichigo-Pro to become an idol under the watchful eye of Miyako.[1]
At the same time, the twins begin preparing to enter high school, which leads to the twins to reunite with Kana Arima. Kana is desperate to find out more about her childhood rival and offers Aqua a role on a show that she is involved in, live-action adaptation of the manga Sweet Today. He eventually accepts upon finding out that the producer, Masaya Kaburagi might be connected to his mother.[2]
The production itself is a sham, the actors are hired for their looks, rather their acting abilities and the show is poorly received. Nonetheless Aqua pulls his weight, which enables Kana to deliver a satisfying performance for the climatic scene. While the investigation into Kaburagi leads nowhere, Aqua still gains some insight into her mother while Kaburagi offers him additional opportunities in the entertainment industry.[3]
Meanwhile the twins enter Youtou High School, a school that offers specialized program for entertainers. As Ruby meets her classmates, she finds out that some of them are established entertainers and becomes desperate to kick start her idol career. Hearing his sister's plea, Aqua suggests inviting Kana to become an idol. After some persuasion, Kana eventually agrees as Aqua gets ready for his next job, appearing on a dating reality show.[4]
