Pieyon「ぴえヨン, Pieyon?」 is a supporting character in Oshi no Ko. He is a famous physical training Youtuber affiliated with Ichigo Production, Inc.
Appearance[]
Pieyon is a muscular tanned man wearing a cute bird mask, which was a character from an unnamed TV show presumably named Pieyon.
Later on, we see his unmasked figure, and it is revealed that he has black hair.
Personality[]
Pieyon first appeared in costume and maintaining his "Pieyon" voice for the entire shoot, suggesting that he is focused on his work.
Plot[]
Dating Reality Show[]
Pieyon first appeared when Miyako Saitou brought him to teach the members of the revived B-Komachi group, Ruby Hoshino and Kana Arima on physical training and how to grow as an internet star.[2]
The First Concert[]
Pieyon later appeared again as a support staff for B-Komachi as they prepare to take the stage in Japan Idol Festival.[3] He helped them to build stamina and to train them to become real idol as he used to be a producer and choreographer for idols. It was later revealed that this Pieyon is actually Aqua, impersonating him because the real Pieyon is on vacation.[4]
Relationships[]
B-Komachi[]
Pieyon was asked by Miyako Saitou to collaborate with the new idol unit from Ichigo Production, Inc, consisting of Ruby Hoshino and Kana Arima, and was unnamed at the time. Pieyon taught them about the basics of building their fanbase online, and filmed them doing a dance routine for one hour straight. The feat impressed Pieyon, who was planning to edit it to make it look like they did one hour, but they did it themselves instead. Pieyon came clear and said that he liked them.
This later paved the way for him to agree in coaching them, albeit through Aqua Hoshino who impersonated him. He agreed because he liked the girls, and happy that they relied on him.
Aqua Hoshino[]
Pieyon was asked to be the physical trainer for the up and coming new incarnation of B-Komachi, but it was revealed later that Aqua impersonated him with his consent, thinking that he would not be able to approach Kana Arima without her rejecting him due to their misunderstanding. Pieyon has enough rapport with Aqua that this was possible.
