Melt Narushima「
Initially an untrained yet arrogant actor, he was humbled after botching his first performance and he has since taken steps to improve his skills. Though he initially still found himself lacking in comparison to his co-stars, following some advice from Aqua, he managed to develop his own personal acting style.
Appearance[]
Melt is an attractive and young model with amber eyes and purplish magenta medium length hair. For his outfit, he wears a white shirt, a dark brown vest, greyish blue pants, and brown footwear.
Personality[]
Being very successful for his good looks at a young age, he was vain, arrogant and disrespectful towards his colleagues during his first appearance. However, the experience of the I'll Go With Sweet Today live-action adaptation production and the feedback to his performance made him aware of his flaws and he became a significantly more diligent and polite person by the time the Tokyo Blade stage production started. Indeed, when Sakuya Kamoshida tried to get together with Ruby's friend, Minami, Melt lies that the director required both of them so Sakuya had to abandon conversing with her, even threatening him to not interact with Minami, demonstrating proper professionalism.
Kamoshida's lambasting of his skills, hit Melt deeply, further feeding his inferiority complex. Despite having trouble developing his skills, Melt was shown to put genuine effort into trying to improve his acting ability, in a stark contrast to his previous demeanour where he would barely put any effort and rely entirely on the popularity of his looks for success, suffering greatly for his weakness. Thanks to Aqua's advice, Melt would be able to weaponize his internal frustration and low expectatives of him building, to display compelling emotions, earning him well-earned praised from the audience and fellow co-actors.
Subsequently Melt developed a sense of pride which compelled him to try to improve as an actor without relying on his attractiveness. When his producer told him he was naive for his way of thinking, it made him realize his mistake, and subsequently convince him to employ every asset at his disposal in order to succeed.
Skills & Talents[]
Initially, Melt's acting ability was described by Ruby as "frankly awful", something even he himself agreed with in retrospect. After realizing his ineptitude, he began taking steps to improve himself but still found his skills lacking in comparison to his co-stars. However, following some advice from Aqua, he found that he can take advantage of his athleticism to do his own stunts, which he uses to make up for the areas he is lacking. During the Tokyo Blade stage play, Melt employed acrobatic maneuvers to accurrately mimic a scene from the manga, earning him immediate praise from the audience. He was also capable of using his building frustration to display genuine emotional acting, moving skeptics to tears and loud cheers.
Although his acting skill was on a learning curve, Melt pursued all avenues possible to improve, showing diligence and a genuine desire to improve himself, showing professional maturity.
In addition to his budgening acting ability, Melt is also a skilled singer, being even better than the members of B-Komachi, a professional idol group, according to his stats.
