As Aqua Hoshino reveals to Taiki that they share a biological father, Taiki proposes that they head somewhere else to continue their discussion. Together they head to Taiki's place and after taking care of Kindaichi, Taiki process through the information and asks about Aqua's mother but Aqua refuses. Taiki explains his mother is Airi Himekawa and their father is Seijuro Uehara but both of them died in an apparent double suicide. Aqua is surprised that his father is dead and Taiki continues that their father is a womanizer and he has noticed Aqua is seemingly doing the same with both Kana and Akane and he should make his mind up or he might end up just like their father. Taiki remarks how strange it is to meet a blood relative, who turns out to be an actor just like him. When Aqua returns home, Ruby chastises him for coming home in the morning. Aqua tries to process the fact that his father is dead but he suddenly receives a call from Kana, who asks about his whereabouts the previously night as he and Akane both disappeared. After ending the call, he notices that Akane also left him a message asking about his wellbeing. Aqua reflects on Taiki's words and contemplates living a happy normal life. Contend, Aqua accepts Ruby's offer for breakfast.
At Ichigo-Pro, Mem-Cho boasts about getting close to 20,000 subscribers for B-Komachi. However the lack of enthusiasm from Kana and Ruby annoys her and she points out 20,000 is an impressive figure as that puts them among top 10% of Youtubers in Japan. Kana points out their financial situation, after taking into account of expenses and there is barely any change left to divide between them. Mem-Cho then proposes doing room tours but Kana flat out refuses at first but quickly changes her mind when Mem-Cho brings up the fact that they can claim expenses on their spendings. At they start filming, Ruby and Mem-Cho cannot help but notice how materialistic their partner is. As Kana looks for more items to film, Mem-Cho offers to help Ruby with her room tour as well but Ruby hesitates since she does not have anything expensive to show off.
Back at home, Ruby struggles with the idea of removing the posters of her mother. While she has always plan to take the secret to her grave, she wonders what her sensei would say but she is certain he would simply tell her to do what she wants. For her, she named their idol group B-Komachi for two reasons; first to fulfill Ai's dream and second is to reconnect with Gorou. Ruby has tried to locate Gorou since her reincarnation but she only knows that he had gone missing. Therefore she is trying to reconnect with him by using the B-Komachi name.
Later, Mem-Cho presents the second part of her plan, shooting a music video. Kana is concerned about the cost but Mem-Cho has secured a friend's discount. Kana reminds Mem-Cho about her schedule with the Tokyo Blade stage play still ongoing but Mem-Cho has planned the trip after the play. Hearing this, Kana starts fantasizing about going on the trip with Aqua. Mem-Cho then continues with part three of her plan, to make an original song. The three girls then ask Miyako about the songs and she tells them that she has commissioned new song from Himura, a top artist who had worked with the original incarnation of B-Komachi. Aqua has a brief lapse into his previous self and thinks about revenge but quickly snaps out of it once he remembers it is over. Ruby wants to sing right away, only to be disappointed that the song is not ready yet. So Ruby wants Miyako to rush him because she argues that idols' time is limited, Kana can return to acting at any moment and Mem-Cho will soon age out. Reluctantly Miyako agrees to give him a call only to find out it has not been written yet. As he make attempts to write the new music, the girl rationalizes that he must have used up all of his ideas and he can no longer find the motivation. As Himura contemplates quitting, he receives a video message with Ruby thanking and encouraging him. With that he finds his creative flame and gets to work.
Soon the stage show of Tokyo Blade comes to a close and Aqua's schedule has opened up. Seeing him with nothing to do, Ruby offers to let her brother join them on the trip to Miyazaki. Aqua has a quick think and accepts the invitation. Meanwhile, in a forest, a small and mysterious white-haired girl smiles to herself.
