Idol「アイドル, Aidoru?」 is the eleventh episode of Oshi no Ko anime adaptation and the final episode of the first season.
Synopsis[]
B-Komachi finally takes the stage, and amidst the throngs of Mem-Cho-seekers, Ruby charms the audience with a smile reminiscent of the late Ai. However, there is no psyllium penlights to cheer Kana up...[1]

Kana vowing to become Aqua's favorite.
B-Komachi's performance begins, and Ruby, Kana, and Mem-Cho take to the stage. Most of their audience consists of Mem-Cho fans, but Ruby draws them in with a charm similar to Ai's. Kana feels envious of them as she appears to have no one in the crowd supporting her. Wallowing in her past failures, Kana wants someone to look at her, proof of her validation. Kana sees Aqua raising a white psyllium penlights, her color, then performing a dance waving all the members' colors to support them. Watching this makes Kana motivated to surpass Ruby and Mem as idols and win Aqua and their audience's hearts.
B-Komachi's performance is a success, and the group's future looks bright. On the drive home, Kana is relieved to learn that Aqua's relationship with Akane is only for work and starts interacting with him normally, also dropping her cold attitude towards him. Mem senses a growing love triangle between the three and is conflicted over which girl to support.

The next day, Kana asks Aqua why he helped them while dressed up as Pieyon. After Aqua tells her that dressing up was the only way he could talk with her, because she would not listen if he was speaking as Aqua, she excitedly teases and pesters him, much to his annoyance. Ruby is happy to see them talking again and explains to Mem how Kana seems to bring out Aqua's old personality in him. Elsewhere, Kaburagi meets with Sumiaki Raida over the production of the upcoming stage play adaptation of the Tokyo Blade manga series. Raida asks Kaburagi for young, good-looking actors to help fill the cast roles, and Kaburagi agrees to help.
Kana and Akane's rivalry.
Aqua and Akane go on a work date and talk about appearing in the Tokyo Blade project, as they have been cast as characters who are an established couple. There is another character that also a love interest for Aqua's character, and Akane wonders who got cast as her. Kana shows up at their date and reveals that it was her. Aqua witnesses Kana and Akane's fierce rivalry, and the two girls declare that they will not lose. After the casting is completed, Raida gets excited over Kana and Akane's dynamic and looks forward to Tokyo Blade's stage play. As the current chapter of the story closes and a new one opens, the crew for the play begins their preparations, Ruby visits Ai's grave, and Aqua once again swears to find their father.

- The performances of B-Komachi are extended with music, lyrics and dance choreography.
- Ruby's dialogue between the songs are entirely anime-original.
- Unlike the manga, Ruby and Mem-Cho react to Aqua's dance in this episode; the anime also alters the dialogue slightly to reflect the fact that Ruby noticing him in the audience when she climbs on the van.
- Mana's role is greatly omitted in this episode.
