Sales Pitch「売り込み, Urikomi?」 is the eighty-fourth chapter of the Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on June 16, 2022.[1]
Summary[]
Aqua Hoshino is shown filming more episodes of Dig Deep! One Chance, and the episodes are watched by many people, including students of Youtou High School. One of which is Frill Shiranui, who commented to Minami Kotobuki and Ruby Hoshino about how interesting the show is going right now, pointing out many unique episodes that caught her attention, but ends up praising Aqua's performance in the show.
Frill admits to Ruby that she is a fan of her brother, but Ruby quickly points out that he already has a girlfriend. Frill explained that she doesn't want to get close to him, preferring to keep her distance as a fan, and said that if he keeps getting more popular, they'll act together someday. Frill extended the statement to include both Minami and Ruby as well, saying that they might act together soon. Minami shyly wonders if she'll ever get as popular as Frill, and Frill coolly states that she's looking forward to when that day comes.
Minami then said that it's more likely for Ruby to act with her brother soon, since twins are often cast together as a pair, and a smug Ruby reveals something mysterious to Frill and Minami. It turns out that she has been cast to Dig Deep! One Chance show as a guest reporter, surprising Aqua who reacted with despair. He glared at Masaya Kaburagi, the producer of the show, and he shrugged wordlessly.
Ruby acted out her role as the reporter for the show's segment, looking for someone named Pikachu-kun, as the filming for the show ended. Aqua then confronts Kaburagi, who reasoned that bringing Ruby brought out Aqua's hidden side that only appears when he's with family, and it can be beneficial to market them together as a twin. Kaburagi then reveals that Ruby herself planned the stunt, proposing the plan to Kaburagi during one of B-Komachi's live concerts that he attended. Kaburagi praises Ruby's ability to find opportunities and take action decisively, and he wasn't expecting Ruby to be that kind of person after meeting her once. He then wondered if Ruby was advised by someone in Ichigo Production, Inc.
In a fishing pool somewhere, Ruby visited Ichigo Saitou, former president of Ichigo Production, Inc. Ichigo asks Ruby not to get involved with him anymore, but she refuses, saying that he was the closest person to Ai Hoshino and the truth behind her death, and she will not let him go until she finds out the killer as well.
