Summary[]
The girls take a break after another session of rehearsals, Pieyon has come over to offer Kana a drink, and she thanks him for it. She then remarks how nice he is unlike Aqua in the presence of Mem-Cho. Kana proceeds to explain her gripes with Aqua, to her, he lacks tact or common sense and is awkward. Furthermore he and his sister have poor attitudes towards elders. Mem-Cho then asks how long Kana has known Aqua, Kana states that they met at a shoot when they were three or four. He left such a strong impression on her back then that he is ruining those memories for her, which confuses Mem-Cho.
As the group resumes their practice, Pieyon is having a video call in the adjacent room, consulting on the girls' progress. The voice at the other end points out everyone's qualities and provides advise for the rest of the day. Pieyon thank him for taking on such a request during vacation, he replies that it was nothing but exclaims surprise that nobody has realized that they are being coached by an impersonator. It is then revealed that Aqua has been disguising as Pieyon this whole time. The real Pieyon then asks why Aqua is supporting them in such a way, to which Aqua explains that Kana is not listening to what he has to say, thus his plan to use Pieyon's voice. Pieyon thinks otherwise, but Aqua admits he's "pretty timid."
Ruby is too excited to sleep the night before the JIF, and Kana tells her the importance of getting a good rest and that pulling all-nighters can take up to 3 days to recover all of the damage. Ruby is still unable to sleep and so Kana asks how she can stay so positive. Ruby explains that becoming an idol has always been her dream and talks about her past. She was forced to stay in a room all the time but things changed when she became an otaku. She then met someone, who told her that he would be her fan if she become an idol. Since then it is her dream to become an idol, and she eventually falls asleep. Kana remarks that Ruby is lucky unlike herself, who lacks someone like that. Kana then heads downstairs and sees Pieyon's mask sitting on a table. Curious what Pieyon looks like, she takes peek inside but is shocked to find out that Aqua has been posing as him.
Daylight comes, B-Komachi arrives at the JIF with Ruby and Mem-Cho being very excited. As they talked about their routines and the importance of sleep, Kana is struggling after a sleepless night.
