Summary[]
As Akane gets judged for her action on LoveforReal, she attempts to defuse the situation by writing a statement on her social media account. However since her contract forbids her from talking about what happens behinds the scenes on the show, her vague statement only stoke the flames.
She considers apologizing but remembers what Mem-Cho previously told her, that apologizing might be the right thing to do but doing so would only worsens the criticism online.
As the rumors and gossips spreads, from social media to an overheard discussion between her friends in school, Akane struggles to cope but tries hiding it from her mother nonetheless. Her manager suggests that Akane to keep silent and not post anything, and to tread lightly with anything she decided to post. The LoveforReal episode containing the incident aired, and Akane realized that this incident will follow through the rest of her career.
The harassment gets even worse, as her old middle school picture was leaked, alongside scathing remarks about her in middle school. The incident spreads into dramatic videos on social medias, articles made about her incident, attempts made to fire Akane off her work, and multiple comments denouncing her and announcing her career is over.
One day as the other cast members message her with their concerns, she decides to head out for food, not realizing a typhoon is on its way. Soon Akane arrives at a bridge overlooking a highway, with all the negative comments still on her mind, she attempts to jump off a bridge. However at the last second, she is grabbed by Aqua.
