Interview「インタビュー, Intabyū?」 is the one hundred and fifty-second chapter of Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on June 13, 2024.
Summary[]
Gotanda is interviewed for The 15 Year Lie. Keeping his words short, he claims to interpret the story as a "true creative work" rather than fiction before dedicating the film to Ai in his closing statement.
That November, The 15 Year Lie held its first screening for those who worked on the production. The movie ended up being a tearjerker, with Frill being unable to stop sobbing even as she and her fellow female actors leave the theater. She compliments Gotanda for managing to even make the bad actors look good and Ruby wonders who she is talking about, only to be flustered when Kana to point out that it is her. However, Melt comes to her defense, arguing that she was the only person who could have pulled off the last scene which the whole movie hinged on, prompting her to dote on him, much to his annoyance.
Elsewhere, Gotanda is smoking with Kaburagi when the producer asks the director if he was able to capture the "real Ai" but the latter is unsure, though he does claims that his regrets have faded. He then asks if it is the same for Kaburagi, who always felt guilty for causing Ai and Hikaru's meeting, which is why he worked hard to make The 15 Year Lie a reality. Kaburagi claims to not be so passionate, only for Gotanda to call him out for originally wanting to be a director, who are inherently passionate, much to the producer's discomfort. Frustrated, Kaburagi takes his leave, but not before coming across a poster of Ai and asking her if he was of help.
Meanwhile, Aqua is being interviewed for The 15 Year Lie. The journalist asks why he agreed to be in the movie, revealing that they watched the screening and found his character quite painful, but the boy just claims to perform for himself. While the journalist argues that Aqua deeply cares for others, he reiterates that he loves no-one and will not reciprocate anyone's feelings. However, the journalist claims this to be a lie and questions why Aqua would bottle up his feelings. Aqua answers that he acts to get revenge for his mother on the journalist, Hikaru Kamiki, claiming that his family will not be able to move forward otherwise.
