Summary[]
As Aqua prepares for his outing with Kana, he overhears a news broadcast discussing the latter's renewed popularity following her lead role in the film Overlooking.
Later, he and Kana meet up on the street, both wearing their school uniforms, which Kana requested for "nostalgia". Considering she is an alumnus, Aqua compares it to cosplaying, to which Kana claims that she wanted to go on a proper date in her uniform. Taken aback, Aqua questions if she really said "date" and Kana flusteredly confirms she did. After a brief moment of silence, Aqua accepts it and asks what her plans are, prompting Kana to bring out a baseball and mitt from her bag. Aqua is exasperated that she wants to play catch on a date but Kana counters by reminding him he did the same with her two years ago. Giving in, Aqua claims to not mind but points out that they will likely not get any privacy due to their popularity. However, Kana assures him that she already thought of a solution.
The two go to Youtou High School and leisurely play catch there, with Kana pointing out that this is the opposite of last time; when they skipped school to play catch. Kana then switches the topic to what Aqua wants to with his future. Surprised by her question, Aqua reveals that he has been thinking of applying to medical school, as he has had a "long time dream" of becoming a heart surgeon. Kana is excited and thinks that it suits him perfectly, since he is always helping others. In response, Aqua shyly remarks that is only what she thinks, causing Kana to tease him before being silenced when he throws the ball back hard.
Aqua asks Kana if she still dreams to be a national actress, but she argues that dream came true when she was five years old. Regardless, Aqua asks if that was her only dream and Kana reveals she has a new one: to be the only person he looks at; shocking him to the point that he misses the ball. A flustered Kana then claims that her current dream is to become Aqua's idol and she wants him to come watch her retirement concert with B-Komachi on Christmas, declaring that, although she is unsure whether she can outshine Ruby or Mem-Cho, she will become his "only star" if he professes her to be his favorite idol.
