Children「子供たち, Kodomo-tachi?」 is the one hundred and forty-fifth chapter of Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on April 3, 2024.
Summary[]
Tsukuyomi portrays a young Ruby for The 15 Year Lie, refusing to participate in the upcoming school dance and crying for her mother while Miyako tries to calm her down. The staff then shouts "cut" and the real Ruby, who has been observing, voices her disbelief that she was such a whiny child, to which Tsukuyomi affirms that she was. Switching topics, Ruby tells her to not screw up the upcoming re-enactment of when she first learned to dance from Ai, as it holds great sentimental meaning to her. As they perform together, Tsukuyomi is initially annoyed by Ruby's attitude. However, as she falls over as part of the scene and Ruby, as Ai, picks her up, she is reminded of when Sarina did the same thing, which cheers her up.
The next day, Tsukuyomi performs as a young Aqua and re-enacts his first meeting with Gotanda. While the director is fond of the performance, Kana, who is present on set alongside Ruby, is not satisfied, much to Tsukuyomi's frustration. The real Aqua then arrives and Tsukuyomi asks for his opinion regarding her performance, to which he denies being as childish as she portrayed, causing her to once again get annoyed.
As Aqua, Ruby, and Kana converse amongst themselves, Tsukuyomi notes to herself that she portrayed them exactly as she remembers them from her perspective. Tsukuyomi then remembers to a time when she was a crow and how she first met Sarina and Gorou: she got stuck in a net whilst attempting to eat some berries until Sarina freed her and convinced Gorou to nurse her back to health. Afterward, Tsukuyomi continued watching over Sarina without her notice until the day she died.
Back in the present, Kana rates Tsukuyomi's performance sixty points, as her performance has made Aqua look cuter than he really is. Meanwhile Tsukuyomi walks away, thinking to herself that she cannot help herself from portraying him and Ruby this way, since they have always been "cute children" to her.
