Connection「コネクション, Konekushon?」 is the fourteenth chapter of the Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on August 20, 2020[1], and in Mangaplus on May 12, 2022.[2]

Kana is alarmed that Aqua is applying for general education. His reason is that Ruby is applying for the entertainment department and he picked the same school because he is worried about his sister. Ruby quietly tells Aqua that she never likes Kana but her brother points out Kana would be her senior, so Ruby reluctantly offers to get along with Kana but Kana is annoyed that the twins have treated as if she is not present throughout. Aqua bids his farewell and an unsatisfied Kana decides to tail him. On his way, Kana continues to follow him while asking him numerous personal questions. Kana then asks if he is still acting and is sad to find out that Aqua no longer acts but suggests they continue their conversation at a karaoke or possibly her place. Aqua points out Kana's baldness but Kana explains that she cannot go to a cafe to talk since she is in the entertainment industry.
With that in mind, He brings her along to Gotanda's place. Gotanda is surprised to see Kana since he has not seen her in a long time and Kana feels hurt since she is still an actress. She continues catching up with Aqua, asking why he comes to see Gotanda if he is not acting any more. Aqua explains that he is Gotanda's assistant and he now works behind the scenes. During dinner, Kana express surprise that Gotanda is still staying with his parents and proceed to ask Gotanda for videos of Aqua's acting, but Aqua refuses, adamant that he has no acting talent. Gotanda tells Kana will have to convince Aqua into acting again, so she offers Aqua a role in a project she is a part of which has unfilled roles, but he flat out refuses. Kana explains that the project is I'll Go With Sweet Today, a drama based on a shoujo manga. Aqua is familiar with the series but still insist on turning down the role. Kana then explains the producer in charge is Masaya Kaburagi, with who she has connections.
In Aqua's mind, he recalls Ai left three cell phones when she died, one for work and one for personal use, both of which contain little use for his investigation. The last one, which Ai used before her pregnancy proved to be the most troublesome. It took a long time to find a replacement battery and it took four years to brute force the phone's passcode. And in it, Aqua found contacts Ai had in the entertainment industry, one of them being Kaburagi. Fixating on the name Kaburagi, Aqua changes his mind and accepts Kana's offer. Kana is caught off guard by his sudden change of heart but warns him that there are a issues.
Kana gets in touch with Kaburagi and after a quick look at his profile, Kaburagi agrees to offer Aqua the role.
