Summary[]
Mem-Cho announces on her stream that she will be starring in a movie. One of the chat messages catches her eye though, saying that she looks scared. She then thinks back on her past experience, from her decision to leave school, to start streaming and later becoming an idol. She remembers all the challenges she overcame and she will do the same this time.
The following morning, as Mem-Cho walks her way to the film set, she witnesses one of the production staff being scolded for some misgivings. The confrontation leaves her feeling unsafe and she discusses it with her make up artist in the waiting room. The make up artist that's really common for projects produced by Kaburagi, there is always someone with strong character involved. She then says the same applies for actors too, it's not about acting skills but whether they like you or not.
Mem-Cho continues the discussion with Kana and Akane, Kana talks about doing well without mistakes is a major skill. Every projects has dozens of people involved and a mistake can cause significant delays, this make people stressful and tend to leave them on edge. However Kana says the set they are on isn't bad in comparison, there are worse out there. Mem-Cho comes to realize that being an actor is not easy. Akane then points out that actors are manual labors as well, they have to do as they are told, such as jumping into fire or living on a dessert.
All this talk has made Mem-Cho feel uneasy but in front of the cameras where failure is not an option, she realizes only those who are confident of themselves can handle the pressure. To her, this is no problem at all since she has been performing live on a daily basis and she realizes she can do it just as well in this environment.
Later that day, Aqua has come to visit the set despite not scheduled for filming that day. Mem-Cho decide to take this opportunity to questions his motivation for making the movie. To her, the film seems to be condemning his father yet filled with kindness. Aqua responds that it feels this way because professionals have worked on it. Besides Gotanda, who helped with the script, both Kichijouji sensei and Abiko sensei (who is now able to take some time off due to her assistants) also helped with the composition. Aqua further explains that he wanted the quality to be absolute since it will be viewed by a lot of people and he is taking advantage of the connections he has made to get the most for this movie. Mem-Cho wonders if he's using her as well which he replies yes.
Back home, Aqua watches the DVD that Ai recorded for his 15th birthday. Ai started discussing about the father and the chapter ends with Aqua promising that he will get it done.
