Friends「友達, Tomodachi?」 is the one hundred and seventh chapter of Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and Illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
Summary[]
Kana is prepared to thank Aqua for his help on saving her. As both of them a sits facing each other, they starts talking about their past. Kana mentions that the Aqua of the past wasn't so reclusive compared to now, she can never forget that. Kana says she can understand him, because she has experienced something similar before, that people have one by one left her. After all, if there's nothing in it for them, calling herself an annoying foul-mouthed woman, repeating no one would like her. As she asks if Aqua hates her too, he gives an expression showing both guilt and innocence.
As Aqua tries to explain himself, he feels as if the cannot put everything in words, but he looks troubled, yet also embarrassed. Kana softly asks him if he did all of it for her sake, to which Aqua mumbles. Kana quietly picks up a tissue box on the table, goes around to behind Aqua, and whacks Aqua across the back of his head for not telling her the problem before. She assures him that she will be an idol in the next two days and she doesn't see him as a romantic partner, since they are childhood friends after all.
As Aqua finally understands the situation, he's relieved to be able to reconnect with Kana, and as she mentions she would never go out with someone who has a girlfriend, he mentioned his rupture with Akane, making Kana realize she just said he sees him as a friend, wasting her chance.
