Scandal「スキャンダル, Sukyandaru?」 is the one-hundred and third chapter of Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and Illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
Summary[]
Kana has been approached by a paparazzi and is questioned about her relationship with director Shima. Surprised by this line of inquiry, she panics and runs away. Various things go through her mind, is the article going to be published, the events of the night, the problems she has caused and what to do. As she panics, she drops her bag with her phone ringing.
At the other end of the line is Miyako at Ichigo Production, Inc. She tells Aqua that Kana is not answering her phone and Aqua notes that she has not come to practice which she has never done so up to this point. Miyako begins to worry as she cannot draft a response without hearing from her first and people of her age are fragile and the entertainment world preys on that fragility.
Back on the street, dark thoughts begin to flood Kana's mind. She know how she will be perceived once words of this scandal is released to the public. As she wonders through the streets, she finally sits down at the park where she once played baseball with Aqua. She thinks about quitting, believing that she is not cut for this industry. As she begins to weep, she says "help.... help me, Aqua". Realizing what she just said, she pities herself, wondering why she clings to a man whenever she is in trouble.
She stands back up, shouting to the sky that she has been subjected to abuse since kindergartens and she is not worried about what anyone has to say about her. However little does she know, Aqua is standing right behind her, witnessing to the whole thing. Satisfied that she is fine and doesn't need him, he will leave the others to handle things.
