A Tight Spot「窮地, Kyūchi?」 is the one-hundred and first chapter of Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
Summary[]
Kana Arima follows director Masanori Shima back to his workplace. After a quick look around, she discovers a bedroom and realizes this is where he takes women behind his wife's back. Kana understands the predicament she is in and has already come up with an excuse if he requests to have sex with her.
Shima asks if she want anything to drink, Kana simply requests juice and they start talking. Shima notices that she is nervous and asks what's on her mind, particularly about being taken to an adult's room. He tells her not to worry as he is not some college student going around, doing dumb things. However just as Kana lowers her guards, he calls her attractive and becomes guarded again. They then start discussing about work, he tells her he only offers roles to people he's interested in, someone who takes him seriously. Kana calls him out as a playboy, which he does not deny, so Kana pushes the topic by asking what does his wife thinks of his behavior. He replies that his wife is just like him, out having fun every night, which is why they both stay out of each other's business.
He tells Kana that she can slap him and leave there and then. However he moves the topic back to his work again, explaining that he will not offer her a minor role, he is going to prepare the perfect role for her, one that would be a masterpiece of hers. He pats her head and asks about her desire to return to acting. He moves his hand to her cheeks as her thought lingers on that desire. He then starts whispering in her ear but just before he can initiate sex, Aqua flashes in her mind. She interrupts his advances, saying she cannot go through with it. She starts crying, and explains that there is someone she likes.
Shima lets her go but is curious what kind of person she likes to the point that make her cry. Kana starts ranting about Aqua and Shima notes that she is not over him despite the fact he has been dating someone else. Shima finds that interesting and offers her a role for his next movie. Kana is confused as they did not have sex but he explains that is just one way to know someone and besides that is not his priority. He is a director after all and it is his job to make movies that are better than sex. And so Kana leaves but unbeknownst to her, someone nearby has taken a photo of her leaving the place.
