Mother & Children「母と子, Haha to Ko?」 is the first chapter of the Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on April 23, 2020,[1] and in Mangaplus on April 21, 2022.[2]

Ai Hoshino is a 16 year old idol with beautiful features, and the ace of an idol group called B-Komachi. Gaining explosive popularity in the show biz world within 4 years of her debut, she is the star that shines the brightest in the eyes of her fans. One of those fans is Gorou, a gynecologist, who adores Ai.
One day, Gorou finds out that his beloved idol is taking a break due to health issues. But when a pregnant Ai shows up in his hospital, the flabbergasted Gorou makes up his mind to support his her. Promising her a healthy delivery, they spend the coming months up to her delivery getting to know each other. Little did he know, a stroll at one unfortunate night would spell the end of his promise as an encounter with a mysterious figure leaves him in an eternal slumber.
But as fate would have it, the wish that one of his deceased patients once made, ends up coming true as he opens his eyes in the body of a newborn in the arms of none other than Ai.
